The medium of it…

Through Barnard/Columbia, I received my BA in English and Religion. I studied abroad through the Emory-Tibet Science Initiative and, specifically, within the Tibetan Mind/Body Science Program — a rigorous study of science-based medicine and contemplative practices. Over the course of my education, I wrote four theses exploring the connections between consciousness, the brain, and technology.

While in college, I was also deeply involved in the entrepreneurship community. I served on the executive board of the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE), received a Tel Aviv-based fellowship through TAMID, and received Tow Foundation Grants to study entrepreneurship in Stockholm and Berlin. Through CORE, I founded a speaker series, moderated several panels, and spearheaded member engagement and onboarding.

Post-graduation, I continued my entrepreneurial work through a Columbia-founded start-up in New York, Battlecard. The start-up was subsequently accepted into Y-Combinator and, as a founding employee, I moved to San Francisco with the founders.

After SF, I settled in Boston and established a freelance consulting practice, Oscilloscope Consulting. Alongside firms, like Franklin Advisory, I wrote entrepreneurship curriculums, advised pre-seed companies, and redesigned/implemented various social media and marketing strategies.

I'm both professionally and intellectually interested in the concept of the self and of consciousness. Throughout my studies and experiences, I’ve aimed to investigate these ideas through language, psychology, art, and religion. Specifically, I’m curious about the translation of self between virtual and actual spaces.
